Night Time Crane Lift
28 January 2025The team at Heathrow House carried out a night time crane lift to remove the redundant plan from the roof top. Due to Heathrow airport restrictions regarding overhead aircrafts, we were only permitted to carry out these works between 10:30pm and 4am. This required close communication with the airport tower, who notified us of when the last flight had landed, as the aircraft typically flies approximately 100ft above the height of the crane as they descend into the airport.
Everything went to plan, and the majority of the redundant plant was successfully removed from the roof top. This leaves one final crane lift to complete the task, well done to all involved.
